Ingredients (1 Serving)

Beef Slice (75g) 

Water (2½ Tbsp)

Onion (50g)

Japanese Steamed Rice (200g)

Yamamori Tsuyu (Soba & Udon Sauce) (2½ Tbsp)



  • Cut the onion into thin slices and chop the green onions. Set aside. 
  • Heat up frying pan over medium heat and add 2½ table spoon of water and 2½ table spoon o Yamamori Tsuyu sauce.
  • Cover the lid and bring the sauce to boil. Once the sauce is boiling, add the sliced onions and spread them out. Cover to cook until tender (to prevent the sauce from evaporating). 
  • When the onion is tender, add the beef and cook. Skim the foam or fats with a fine mesh sieve.
  • Serve the meat and sauce over steamed rice. Top with chopped green onions and pickled red ginger.
