Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using our website www.minato.com.sg, so that you are aware of your legal rights and obligations with respect to Minato Singapore Pte Ltd (“Minato”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

By accessing this Site or using the Services, you hereby agree:

  • that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use; and
  • that you are the user of the Site and/or Services and are 18 years or above.  Alcohol listings on the Site or Services are intended for those who are 18 years or above, and may only be purchased by those who are 18 years and above.
  • Your company has registered with Minato as this is currently only for corporate sales.

If you do not accept these Terms of Use, please leave the Site and/or discontinue use of the Services immediately.

Minato may at any time vary or amend these Terms of Use by posting the amended Terms of Use on the Site.  Any use of the Site or Services after the amendment of these Terms of Use is deemed acceptance of the amended Terms of Use by you.  If you do not agree to the amended Terms of Use, you have the right to stop using the Site and Services.



The copyright, patents, trademarks, registered designs and all intellectual property rights in the Services, the Site, the App and all Content shall vest in and remain with Minato and its licensors. Consent is granted to view, electronically copy, and print in hard copy portions of the Site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Minato for your use. Any other use of the materials on this Site, including modification, distribution, or reproduction for purposes other than those noted above, without the prior written permission of Minato is strictly prohibited. You acknowledge that Minato and/or third-party content providers remain the owners of such material and that you do not acquire any of those ownership rights by downloading copyrighted material. Minato reserves the right to revoke this authorization at any time, and any use shall be discontinued immediately on written notice from Minato.

The trademarks, logos and service marks (“Marks”) displayed on this Site or App are the property of Minato and other third parties, and all rights to the Marks are expressly reserved by Minato and relevant third parties. You are not permitted to use the name of Minato or any Marks, including in any advertising or publicity or as a hyperlink, without the prior written consent of Minato or such third party.

The domain name on which the Site is hosted on is the sole property of Minato and you may not use or otherwise adopt a similar name for your own use.



No party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement if the failure results from a Force Majeure Event (defined below), provided always that whenever possible, the affected party will resume that obligation as soon as the Force Majeure Event occasioning the failure ceases or abates.

For purposes of this Agreement, a “Force Majeure Event” is an event which is a circumstance or event beyond the reasonable control of a party which affects the general public in that party’s country or in the territory, and which results in the party being unable to observe or perform on time an obligation under this Agreement. Such circumstance or event shall include industrial action or labour disputes, civil unrest, war or threat of war, criminal or terrorist acts, government action or regulation, telecommunication or utility failures, power outages, fire, explosion, natural physical disasters, epidemic, quarantine restrictions, and general failure of public transport.



Order Delivery

The Buyer shall designate in the Order the Buyer’s preferred delivery option or if available, collection options, and where the delivery option is selected, the address for delivery of the Products.

Subject always to Minato acceptance of the Order,

  • Where the delivery option is selected:
    • Minato shall deliver the Products to such place of delivery as may be designated by the Buyer and agreed to by Minato. If no one is available at the delivery address to receive the products, Minato’s delivery agent will leave an “unable to deliver” card at the address and the Buyer should follow the directions on that card to obtain delivery of the Products.
  • The Buyer shall bear and pay to Minato:
    • the Delivery and Shipment Charges
    • the delivery, re-delivery, shipment, return, forwarding, re-shipment, and administrative costs, tax, duties, storage and disposal charges and costs for any Product(s), which is/are
    • rejected by the Buyer where such rejection is not made pursuant to an express right of the Buyer under these Conditions, or where any delivery to the Buyer is unsuccessful for any reason.
  • Please read our latest Delivery Terms for local deliveries, which shall apply to the Contract where the option is made available by Minato, and the Buyer opts for self-collection of the Products the Buyer shall collect the Products at an address designated by Minato.

Minato is unable to ship to any PO Box, military, protected area or location. Shipping and other charges for failure of attempted delivery to the restricted areas will be borne by Buyer or recipient of the Products.

There will be an administrative fee payable by the Buyer for any changes in delivery address for each Order.

The Buyer is aware that the courier company or customs authority may in their sole discretion, open and inspect for any reason the contents of the Product package, and Minato shall not be liable for any loss or damage thereby caused.

Any shipment, delivery or collection dates provided by Minato are estimates only and shall not form part of the Contract. Minato shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense for any failure to meet any given shipment, delivery or collection date, howsoever caused. If Buyer’s Order has not been delivered within a reasonable time, the Buyer should contact Minato at:

Minato reserves the right from time to time, without liability or prior notice, to withdraw or cease to make available any or all Products from the Online Store, or to:

  • Change its prices or specifications of any Product; or
  • Deliver a Product which is similar to the Product ordered with minor differences, (each a “Substitute Product”). The Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted such changes and differences if the Buyer accepts delivery of a Substitute Product.



An Order may be cancelled by the Buyer prior to payment for the Products by Buyer, provided always that:

  • the Buyer must contact Minato to request Minato for cancellation immediately;

Minato will endeavour to accommodate the Buyer’s request, if the Order has not been processed; and the Buyer shall pay any cancellation fees which may be imposed by Minato.

If an Order has already been processed, no cancellation or refund will be permitted.

The Buyer acknowledges that Minato ‘s liability to deliver the Products to the Buyer pursuant to the Contract is subject to the availability of the Products. The Buyer further acknowledges that Minato retains absolute discretion as to the order of priorities in which any Products are delivered to Minato ‘s customers.

Minato may deliver the Products in an Order by instalments, provided that full payment for the entire Order shall be made on or before the delivery of the first instalment.

Minato reserves the right to make only partial delivery of an Order. If only part of the Order can be shipped, Minato will use reasonable efforts to contact the Buyer to select replacements. If Buyer cannot be contacted, Minato will reject the entire Order.




  • Delivery slots are subject to availability. Please notify Minato immediately of any change to your delivery address, date or time of delivery, or contact number. 
  • For all deliveries, please arrange for someone to receive the delivery and sign off the delivery invoice or device. If the delivery includes alcoholic drinks, which may not be delivered to a minor, please ensure a person of 18 years of age or older with appropriate identification is present to take delivery of the alcoholic drinks or other items. Minato reserves the right not to deliver any age-restricted product to anyone who is, or appears to be under, the age of 18 years old, and to charge the Customer an additional re-delivery fee of S$10.00.  Minato also reserves the right to refuse to deliver any alcohol to any person who is, or appears to be, under the influence of either alcohol or drugs.  You agree that if any applicable legal requirements for the delivery of alcohol are not met, Minato reserves the right to cancel the alcohol-related portion of your order. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.



  • We ask that you please check your order upon delivery. If there is any damaged or incorrect product(s) (including delivery of additional product(s) not ordered by you), please contact us within 7 days of your delivery date at support@minato.com.sg or call us at 6737-1911.  Minato at its sole discretion, will offer a replacement or refund of the damaged or incorrect product(s), or arrange for the re-delivery, collection and/or return of the incorrect product(s).
  • We ask that all returned products are not used or expired, and in the original box and/or packaging. Minato reserves the right, but has no obligation to, inspect the returned product and to determine whether the product was rightfully returned in accordance with this paragraph. Where Minato exercises its right to inspect the Product, Minato’s decision in respect of such returned products shall be deemed final and binding on you.



Unless the Buyer notifies Minato in writing to the contrary within ten (10) days of the date of delivery, the Products shall be deemed to have been accepted by the Buyer as being in good condition and in accordance with the Contract.

A Product shall only be eligible for replacement if upon delivery:

  • It is damaged; or
  • the Product supplied is different from the Product specified in the Order



You agree to indemnify and hold Minato, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, partners, and employees, harmless from all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities (including statutory liability and liability to third parties), penalties, and costs (including without limitation, legal costs on a full indemnity basis), awards, losses and/or expenses that Minato, and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders or other partners, and employees, may be subject to, directly or indirectly, due to or arising out of:

  • any use of the Site or any Site;
  • your connection to the Site;
  • your breach of any terms and conditions of these Web Terms;
  • your violation of any rights of another person or entity; or
  • your beach of any statutory requirement, duty or law.
